Grants to Individual Artists – Technical Assistance Workshops
Grants to Individuals Artists (GIA) support committed, accomplished artists by financially supporting the advancement of their artistic careers. GIA awards may be used for professional development, career promotion, creation or presentation of new work, and/or purchase of equipment. Disciplines eligible for funding in 2008 include Crafts, Media Arts, Visual Arts, and Interdisciplinary (combination of two or more 2007 or 2008 eligible categories). Application deadline for 2008 is May 16. Learn more about the GIA funding program. Click on meeting date for more workshop details. Reservations for workshops are strongly suggested.
